This blog post will be the first to feature my most recent addiction: collecting Warcraft action figures. Well, action might not be the correct word to use as almost all of these figures have no movable joints. Statues may be a more apt term to describe them.
Anyway, this addiction may have been brought about by me always hanging around with Lem and Charles. They both have a similar passion for Gundams (which I don't share) and anime collectibles (which I do). I did try looking for Bleach and One Piece sets but sometimes the workmanship doesn't appeal to me. And besides, I don't want to buy sets they already bought.
Now on to my recent acquisition.
Meet Tamuura. She is, in all honesty, a nobody. She's not a DOTA character. She's not in any major Warcraft storyline. Heck, she's not even in any story line!
But I like how she looks so I bought her. =) Seen below is a full frontal picture of her. And a little note:
One of the things I absolutely love about this figure is her expression. She looks so haughty, staring at you like that.
A closer look at her bodice and hand. Nice long, purple fingernails. :)
It's such a shame the stockings don't stand out. They blend too much with her skin. It was a nice touch, though.
I don't like the design of her sword much. Shouldn't a mage be carrying a staff of some sort?
